'Setting up your Practice'
o
Saturday 13th September 10am-5pm
A one-day workshop in Portishead near Bristol
In the afternoon discussion continued, led by Kate and Annette of the DPN team. Here’s some of the feedback we received:
“I really just wanted to say a big thank you for such a wonderful and inspiring day in Portishead.
David was brilliant and helped answer so many questions on both a practical and spiritual level.
The afternoon session was just as valid as the morning one and really made me search deeper and really think about what my intentions are. I have felt a big shift going on over the last couple of weeks since seeing you all and I know it was just the push I needed to get my priorities right and just get going. We spoke a bit about fear and how it can just stop you doing what you know you are destined to do and I now have the strength to move forward and spread that light.”
“Just good to be with Reiki people, not used to people knowing what I’m talking about. Thank you for your support and encouragement.”
“I expected an MOT – I found a full service – very useful.”
Some information provided by David Balen – our Guest speaker
David, who is a major provider of insurance services to complementary therapists, also provides The Reiki Association’s block insurance scheme. However he is not just an insurance specialist – but is a man of much experience and wisdom in the areas of mediation and healing.
David has had a varied career, as a musician, yoga teacher, and healer, and as a teacher of meditation and healing. His breadth of knowledge and experience means that his seminar on ‘Setting up your Practice’ is far more than just a day spent looking at business issues. His seminars consider: how to set up and run a successful practice; promotion and advertising; how to deal with complaints, risk management and problem avoidance; insurance issues; practice management; how to be self-reflective in your practice, and self/personal development as a practitioner. Most importantly for Reiki practitioners, though, is that, threaded through all of these practical subjects, is a focus on the energetic of being a practitioner of a healing system.
We hope that you will decide to book a place on the ‘Setting up your Practice’ seminar; it will be thought provoking, stimulating and an important part of any Reiki practitioner’s path.
